FLY ASH HANDLING
FLY ASH is one of the residues generated by coal combustion, and is composed of the fine particles that are driven out of the boiler with the flue gases.
For fly ash without close compaction, the bulk density (mass per unit volume including air between particles) can vary from 0.5 to 0.8 T/m3 , whereas with close packed storage or vibration, the range can be 1.1 to 1.5 kg/m3
Angle of Repose may go up to 40?.
