Moment of Inertia Calculation

Moment of inertia, also called mass moments of inertia or the angular mass, (SI units kg m²) is a measure of an object resistance to changes in its rotation rate. It is the rotational analog of mass. When you calculate the moments of inertia you actually measure how far the material in a cross-section of an element is from its neutral axis.
